With over 20 years in the construction and real estate development industries, Megan Turner began her career in the era of “take your daughter to work day” tagging along with her father on construction sites throughout Los Angeles. She fell in love with the tangibility of his life’s work, and went on to study Architecture at Columbia University. Being surrounded by talented and inspiring classmates, Megan would think more about how to execute their designs during studio crits, than testing the limits of her own. This was the catalyst of her focus on a career in Construction Management. As president and founder of M.L.Turner, Megan is personally involved in all of the company’s projects, utilizing her big picture strategy, detail oriented execution and high level negotiation skills. As a General Contractor, City Planning Commissioner, real estate enthusiast, wife and mother with a passion for design, Megan sees projects holistically and is always thinking about how they will function, who will occupy the built environment, and what their purpose will serve. Through her relationships with leaders throughout the industry, Megan brings the appropriate resources together at the pertinent time to ensure successful project completions.
